'A breath-taking performance from talented London organist' Diocese of York News
Rated as an "outstanding" teacher by the Tri-Borough Music Hub. April 2016 "This was another fantastic Lunchtime Organ Recital...Hannah Parry ... performed a wonderful programme of music which was greatly appreciated by the enthusiastic audience at Norwich Cathedral." Andy Yourglivch |
Here is a stunning new piece composed by Barney Scarff (aged 10) and Hannah Parry (aged more than 10). This is a pentatonic take on a famous song from the Lion King and was conceived for the occasion of the new ABRSM virtual exam grades. If you'd like to perform this piece, please seek permission via the Contact Form.

Click the link to download and listen to Talaash composed by Hannah Parry and recorded at St Mary-le-Bow in London. Talaash, which means exploring in Hindi, is really an excuse for a travel story. Whilst travelling in India I accidentally ended up at a memorial concert for a deceased musician. The concert started very late and was extremely long. When the music got going it was mesmerising, but tuning of the sitar seemed to take forever. The opening and closing sections are influenced by this experience, whilst the central section takes an India raga and treats it using western compositional techniques.
